COVID-19 Safety Measures
It is our top priority for our patients to feel comfortable and safe at our office. We are taking additional safety measures to protect our patients and our team. There’s a lot of uncertainty when it comes to COVID-19, but one thing you can be certain of is going to the dentist is, and always has been, safe!
Upon arriving to the office, you will notice some changes.
You will be asked to wash your hands with a sanitizer, fill out a short questionnaire and your temperature will be recorded. Once you are in the operatory you will be given a mouth rinse before any procedure will be performed.
We have installed new True Hepa-13 air filtration units that will clean the air every 5 – 7 minutes to remove particles up to 99.95 % or more that are .1 micron in size. We will be using high vac suction to further reduce the aerosols created. The use of UVC lights will be employed as well for further sterilization.
Your practitioner, assistants, and all personnel will be wearing the proper Personal Protection Equipment as recommended by the CDC and the ADA.
Upon recommendation of the CDC and ADA we have removed the magazines from the waiting room and the seating has been further reduced. We will be going paperless with charting to lessen any cross contamination.
You will be asked to phone or text our office upon arrival so we can control patient flow.
We appreciate your assistance with this transition and please understand that this is all for the benefit of our patients and personnel here at the New Jersey Sleep Apnea Center.
